Gastwon

There was so many cute little stores in Gas town, I couldn't decide which one was your favorite, so i picked the jade store because in my opinion its the best one down there.

I choose this picture for "feet", mainly because its adorable :)

I chose these two for water cause the first one has the word water and the second one is water.

These two are obviously for the letter W :)

These are the two photos picked for Vancouver .

I picked two different kind of wheels to mix things up :P

This is my photo for Old vrs New, Its a picture of old gas town im new Gas Town.

This is my picture of a Boot :)

This is Gassy Jack, he was called Gassy Jack because he talked so much :).

White Balance

White Balance
(outside)

The first one I used the setting Cloudy, the middle one I used natural lighting, and the last one I used tungsten.
I personally like the cloudy affect, it stands out most to me, but if you want to get the most natural looking photo, I would use cloudy when its cloudy out and daylight when its sunny out, or I would just use auto(AWB).

White balance
(inside)

This photo was taken using regular lighting.

This photo was taken with the affect cloudy.

This photo was taken with the affect florescent.

When I took the pictures inside I noticed the best ones to use where, Auto (AWB) or Tungsten.

NATURAL

Natural

I decided to use this picture because, its simple, natural and beautiful and I really like flowers :) .

Rule of thirds and Leading lines

Leading lines

I chose these pictures because they are clear examples, of leading lines and I like both pictures. I noticed that my eyes will slowly follow along the path, for the first one I will start at the bottom of the path and go up, and for the second I started at the top and went down. this is the path leading to the back of my house :).

Rule of thirds

I chose this photo because I used the rule of thirds while taking it. I decided to take this picture of the stumps in my back yard because the stumps interest me, and the one kind of looks like a chair haha :P

This is Thud, our grumpy little troll cat lol, I was looking through my photos and realized I used the rule of thirds for this photo too, so I decided to use it, oh and because hes adorable <3 .

Contrast

I chose this photo because, in my opinion it shows a lot of contrast because it stands out a lot, and the roses are very bright compared to the background.

Texture

This photo shows texture from the contrast and depth.

Repetition

This is a photo of the bike rack, it clearly shows repetition, because all the bike rack things are lined up beside it each other.

Angle of view

I took this photo laying on the bench, it shows the grass from a side view instead of from the top.

Scale, Depth, Framing, Simplicity.

Simplicity

The reason I chose this photo for simplicity is because, the flower stands out and its the main focus of the photograph, and the background is all green, that blends in... and the pictures really pretty:)

Framing

The whale is framed by the window of the boat.
Tbh, I only used this photo because its the only one I have that shows framing, its not very interesting, but its good enough haha.

Depth

The foreground would be the walkway, the middle ground is the water, and the background is the trees/sky.
I think this photo shows good depth :) .

Scale

This photo shows scale because we all have a general idea on how big my hand is, and when my hand is wrapped around the tree trunk, it shows that the tree is small LOL :).

LOUD

This is a card I got when I went to Pride at Holland park, to support my sister and her girlfriend. sadly I didn't have my camera with me so I couldn't get a better picture. The reason I chose to use this picture, is because it was very loud at pride.

For my turtle collage that was dominantly white,  my EV2- was dark but you could still make it out, EV1- was a little bit better, but EV 0, was the most realistic looking photo, and you could make out every detail. With EV1+ I started to lose some detail and the color started to fade, but for EV2+ the photo was almost completely washed out and you couldn't see most of the details.

For my exit sign collage that was dominantly dark, my EV2- was dark, but you could still make out what it was, only because the exit sign had a red light in it making it easy to see in the dark. For my EV1-, you could still easily make out what it was, but it still didn't show the actual lighting in the room when I took the photo, when I used EV0 the photo showed the actual lighting in the room when I took the photo, when I used EV1+ the photo, didn’t look as realistic it was too bright, but when I used EV+2 the photo started to look washed out, but you could still clearly make out that it was an exit sign.

My type of photography.

The type of photography I tend to gravitate to is landscape photographs because, I’m a nature lover, and you have so many options of what to photograph because there’s nature everywhere, and it’s constantly changing, and you will most likely never get the same photo. The reason I choose this photo is because, the Image itself is very unique, the colors are very bright, I also love that the photograph is dominated by green and all the edges are soft, it all kind of flows together, beautifully. I also enjoy photographs from foreign countries, because I will most likely never get a chance in my life time to see the place that was photographed in real life. Another one of my favorite types of photography styles are high speed and infrared, I appreciate all types of photography though, as long as it can get my attention and make me think about it.
